If your boat is within reasonable proximity to one of our EU branches, and the trip cost represents a small fraction of the cover’s price (around 10–15%), we come on-site to ensure a perfect fit for marine covers for boats and yachts.
If your boat is located at a significant distance from our nearest EU branch, and the trip would be disproportionately expensive (for example, 40–60% of the cover’s price), we offer a remote process.
How does it work? 🚤
1️⃣ You record a video of your boat from all sides (using a smartphone, selfie stick, or drone)
2️⃣ You send the video to us 📩
3️⃣ We create detailed blueprints with control measurement points based on the footage 📐
4️⃣ You take measurements between these control points and send the completed measurement data back to us 📏↩️
This way, we guarantee the precise manufacturing of made-to-measure yacht covers for your vessel, even without an on-site visit.
Please note that remote manufacturing is possible only for the following cases:
1️⃣ Mooring and trailering covers with full-boat coverage (overall protection of the entire vessel).
2️⃣ Other types of boat covers only if the client provides detailed technical drawings for each individual pattern piece (not a finished cover), clearly indicating all dimensions for every panel and element.
3️⃣ An option where an existing (old) cover is shipped to our production facility, provided it is in suitable condition.
Depending on the cover type and the presence of two-part fastening hardware (such as snaps, clamps, strap buckles, and similar fittings), we install one part of the fastening hardware onto the new cover, while the second part is installed by the client on the boat’s frame.
⚠️ For a perfect fit of cockpit canopies, flybridge covers, sprayhoods, backdrops, and full overall covers, we strongly recommend an on-site visit by our specialists for professional measurements, followed by final installation of the cover on the vessel.
